Morpheus8 is a fractional radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device — widely regarded as the gold standard for non-surgical skin tightening and remodelling. Ultra-fine, insulated needles deliver precisely controlled RF energy into the deeper layers of the skin and the fat beneath it, at depths of up to 4mm.

This does two things at once: it triggers the skin’s natural wound-healing response, stimulating new collagen and elastin, and it gently remodels the underlying tissue that gives the face and body their contour.

At Allure Passions, Morpheus8 is never a one-size-fits-all treatment. Depth, energy and needle configuration are adjusted for each area and each patient — the settings we use on delicate under-eye skin are entirely different from those we use on the jawline, neck or abdomen.

Morpheus8 is ideal if you’ve noticed early-to-moderate skin laxity but aren’t ready for — or don’t want — surgery. Your suitability is always confirmed at consultation, where we assess your skin quality, medical history and expectations honestly. If we believe another treatment (or no treatment) would serve you better, we will tell you.

It is not suitable during pregnancy, with certain implanted medical devices, or over active skin infections — all of which we screen for as standard.

Some tightening is visible almost immediately, as existing collagen fibres contract in response to heat. The most significant change, however, unfolds gradually: new collagen takes 3–6 weeks to form, with results continuing to build for up to three months after your final session.

For most patients we recommend a course of one to three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, followed by an annual maintenance session. Results typically last 12 months or more, supported by the homecare we prescribe.

Morpheus8 is built on two of the most extensively studied mechanisms in aesthetic medicine. Controlled dermal micro-injury has been shown in peer-reviewed studies to increase collagen density measurably within weeks. Radiofrequency energy, meanwhile, heats tissue to 60–70°C at depth — the temperature at which collagen fibres contract and fibroblasts are activated into sustained new production.

Because Morpheus8 uses insulated needles, energy is delivered only at the needle tip, protecting the skin’s surface. This “colour-blind” delivery is what makes it safe across all Fitzpatrick skin types — including tones where surface-heating lasers carry pigmentation risk.

The device’s burst mode allows energy to be delivered at three depths in a single insertion, treating the fat, deep dermis and superficial dermis in one pass — a genuine full-thickness remodelling that few technologies can match.
